La riabilitazione spaziale con il metodo SaM (sense and mind)
nella disprassia

Abstract
The SaM Method arises from the multidisciplinary experience and collaboration of
rehabilitation therapists. SaM is the abbreviation of Sense and Mind: supported by
the neuro-scientific discoveries (as embodied cognition, voluntary movement, mirrorneurons
and mental images), this Method relies on body experience as essential to
construct thought and on multimodal integration. The aim of this article is to
describe the basis of the SaM approach in assessment and treatment of
developmental dyspraxia, in answer to the rising demand for rehabilitating therapies
in this disease.
